SAKSHAM currently offers over 200 public health and 100 clinical courses online.
SAKSHAM (Stimulating Advanced Knowledge for Sustainable Health Management), a digital learning platform developed by the National Institute of Health & Family Welfare (NIHFW) has been launched by the Government of India.
SAKSHAM is a Learning Management Information System (LMIS) that provides all health professionals in the country with online training and medical education. This digital learning platform will ensure the inclusive capacity building of health professionals ranging from primary health care centres in rural and remote areas to tertiary care and corporate hospitals in metropolitan cities.
SAKSHAM currently offers over 200 public health and 100 clinical courses online. Health professionals can register for these courses on the portal at https://lmis.nihfw.ac.in/ and receive certification after completing the required training and meeting the assessment criteria.
Healthcare workers and administrators can use SAKSHAM to learn globally relevant information at their own pace and convenience from anywhere in the country.
All previously hosted self-learning courses on the iGOT Diksha platform have been successfully onboarded on the LMIS portal. The Training Management Information System (TMIS) will be integrated with the LMIS portal in the near future.
SAKSHAM is an initiative to integrate all health-related training programs for the healthcare workforce and will act as:
A common portal for quality-driven, up-to-date, globally relevant courses in the health sector.
A central repository for training and teaching materials.
