In a recent development, the National Health Authority (NHA) launched the beta version of an Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission-compliant Hospital Management Information System.
The aim is to provide a digital platform to private clinics and small health facilities to generate and fetch the Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA) of their patients, allow doctors to manage their appointments, view previous health records of patients, and take video consultations.
A virtual beta-testing workshop was organized to increase the adoption of the HMIS and seek feedback from healthcare providers. The feedback will be incorporated into the software to make it more user-friendly. The HMIS and its user manual can be accessed at docmitrabeta.abdm.gov.in
