Healthcare in India has grown to be one of the country's largest revenue and employment generators. The Indian healthcare sector is expanding rapidly as a result of improved coverage, expanded services, and increased spending by both public and private players.
Amid this unprecedented expansion, the 28th edition of Medical Fair India was organized from April 27–29, 2023, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
The fair, which is India’s No. 1 trade fair for hospitals, health centers, and clinics, was organized with the support of the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI), Association of Indian Manufacturers of Medical Devices (AIMED), Association of Diagnostic Manufacturers of India (ADMI), Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI), Voice of Healthcare (VOH), GMAAF (Global Medtech Advocacy & Advisory Forum), NASSCOM Center of excellence – IoT & AI and Healthcare Events as Knowledge partner for Clin Lab Conference.
The fair featured an integrated communication and trade platform for over 10,000 visitors and delegates to network and conduct business. This year, leading medical technology providers in equipment, consumables, hospital furniture, surgical instruments, components, laboratory, life science, pharmacy, and infrastructure categories, to name a few, participated in the three-day show.
The show was a huge success, with companies from over 14 countries displaying their products, services, and innovations. Austria, Canada, China, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom were among the countries that participated. A total of 277 Indian and international exhibitors showcased their cutting-edge products and technologies, and more than 90,000 visitors from the healthcare field witnessed the well-segmented exhibition.
Special shows at the MEDICAL FAIR INDIA
Clin Lab India is an exhibition and conference on the topics of laboratory medicine, point-of-care testing, molecular medical diagnostics, and clinical chemistry. The show was aimed at promoting recent developments and market trends in the IVD sector and allied areas.
It brought together leaders from the medical laboratory industry, providing them with an opportunity to promote their brands, meet potential customers, and entertain existing clients.
FTR4H is a global ecosystem that drives digital health. It is an international platform to learn, exhibit, and invest in breakthroughs in the healthcare industry. It acts as a bridge between the "established MedTech world" and the "digital transformation world," providing visibility for highly specialized, highly innovative companies from the health + AI, blockchain, data, IoT/mobile, and robotics communities, thereby supporting the growth of the global digital health community.
Rehaindia, powered by REHACARE, attracted all the categories of stakeholders in the rehabilitation segment. This segment was purely dedicated to the rehabilitation sector in India.
Voice of Healthcare: Medical Fair India organized a one-day conference with Voice of Healthcare (VOH) as a conference partner. The Voice of Healthcare acts as a nodal body and visionary think tank for policy advocacy, idea mobilization, and sustainable advancement in healthcare.
Smart Hospitals Conference: Smart Hospitals Pavilion was created to help business owners of small hospitals, daycare centers, clinics, etc. learn to manage their businesses in alignment with changing market needs and business scenarios. This year’s theme for smart hospitals' business sessions was designed to create focused discussions around telehealth technologies.
Make in India Pavilion was formed by the Association of Indian Manufacturers of Medical Devices (AIMED).
A comprehensive program was designed for visitors, which included exhibition showcases, special zones, and technical conferences. It provided a unique opportunity for exhibitors and visitors to meet, exchange ideas, and conduct business.
