The Association for Transgender Health in India (ATHI), in collaboration with the International Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the National Network of Transgender Persons (NNTP), has announced the fourth international conference on Transgender Healthcare, IPATHCON 2023. It will take place from November 26th to November 30th, 2023, in New Delhi, India, with a primary focus on "Addressing felt need for training and capacity building of care providers."
This is the first time in India that the foundation and advanced Gender Affirmative Care Workshop in Transgender Health is organized by IIHMR New Delhi and AIIMS New Delhi. The courses will be conducted by certified international faculty & and professionals in Transgender Health from the Global Education Institute (GEI) of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and the University of Colorado, USA. They will be assisted by domain experts from the Indian Professional Association for Transgender Health (IPATH), the professional arm of ATHI.
The participants for the IPATHCON 2023 are from Medicine (Medical, Nursing, and Para-medical), Public Health, Social Sciences, Education & and from transgender community cadre.
