In a share swap deal, Noida-based Health Care At Home (HCAH) has acquired Nightingales Home Health Services, a Bengaluru-based specialty home healthcare service provider.
The acquisition will make HCAH India's largest out-of-hospital care provider. The acquisition will help HCAH establish a bigger foothold in southern India, where Nightingales currently serves four major cities and employs over 1100 healthcare professionals. It will also bring Nightingales’ co-founder Vishal Bali to the HCAH board as a shareholder.
Vivek Srivastava, co-founder and CEO (chief executive officer) of HCAH, stated “The organization is committed to providing quality out-of-hospital healthcare services to patients with a specialist focus on rehabilitation through their transition care center and home care services. The acquisition of Nightingales underscores this commitment, and both organizations share the goal of ensuring nationwide access to high-quality out-of-hospital care”.
The acquisition of Nightingales marks the fourth such acquisition of HCAH. In August 2021, HCAH acquired SuVitas Holistic Healthcare, a Hyderabad and Bengaluru-based transition care company. In 2016, HCAH acquired the disease management firm Health Impetus. It also acquired a 100% stake in Seniority, which is reportedly India's largest geriatric-centric digital platform.
