Dr SS Agarwal has been a member of the Medical Council of India, NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers), and the National Council of Medical and Health, Government of India.
Jaipur. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has issued an order appointing Dr SS Agarwal as the President of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jodhpur. Dr SS Agarwal has previously been a member of the institutional body of AIIMS Jodhpur.
Dr Agarwal has also served as the National President of the Indian Medical Association, the top organization for doctors, being the only doctor from Rajasthan to hold the top position.
Dr SS Agarwal has been a member of the Medical Council of India, NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers), and the National Council of Medical and Health, Government of India. Currently, he is a trustee of the Calgary Eye Hospital, Dhanwantari Seva Samiti, and other medical institutions, serving in various capacities.
Dr Agarwal has been the National Coordinator of the Medical Cell of the Bharatiya Janata Party and has held responsibilities in all departments at the state level. He is also a specially invited member of the BJP State Working Committee. Dr Agarwal has received recognition from the Governor of Rajasthan for his significant contributions to the healthcare sector in the state.
As the Chairman of the Swasthya Kalyan Group of Institutions, along with his role as Chairman of Rajasthan Hospital and Chairman of the Swasthya Kalyan Blood Bank, Dr SS Agarwal has introduced a new dimension to healthcare services in Rajasthan.
Dr. SS Agarwal states that healthcare facilities will be tailored to meet the needs of Rajasthan and special attention will be given to research on diseases that are a priority for the people of the state. This approach aims to ensure that residents of Rajasthan do not have to go outside the state for medical treatment.
