Cipla has launched a new diagnostic device, Cippoint, to test diabetes, infectious diseases, cardiac markers, thyroid function, and other conditions.
With Cippoint, medical professionals will be able to receive test results in 3 to 15 minutes, facilitating quicker clinical decision-making. According to the manufacturer, the device has an automated system, is easy to operate, and can be utilized in mobile vans or remote locations.
The cost of the device and whether it would be used in consumer homes or in medical clinics were not made public by Cipla.
According to a statement from the Mumbai-based company, Cippoint provides a comprehensive range of parameters to test for cardiac markers, diabetes, infectious disorders, fertility, thyroid function, inflammation, metabolic markers, and coagulation markers.
