Pristyn Care has achieved a significant milestone by being honored with the prestigious title of Medical Value Travel Facilitator (MVTF) by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH).
Pristyn Care, a healthcare organization known for patient-centered care, has achieved a significant milestone by being honored with the prestigious title of Medical Value Travel Facilitator (MVTF) by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH). This recognition places Pristyn Care among the top 50 NABH-recognized organizations. The assessment covered several critical aspects, including compliance with regulations, organizational details, provided facilities, privacy policies, general policies, and organizational responsibilities.
The MVTF empanelment program was initiated in 2016 in response to requests from the Ministry of Tourism and FICCI, managed by NABH. This program ensures that MVTF centers are responsible and trustworthy, which, in turn, instills confidence in international patients seeking treatment. MVTF centers in key cities collaborate with hospitals to streamline the empanelment process, leveraging India's world-class healthcare system.
NABH, a component of the Quality Council of India (QCI), is responsible for establishing and administering programs that set standards and guidelines for healthcare organizations. NABH's primary objective is to enhance health systems and continually enhance quality and safety for patients. The board operates independently with support from various stakeholders, including businesses, consumers, and the government.
"NABH introduced the MVTF empanelment program to elevate service standards for international patients in India, furthering the 'Heal in India' initiative under the Government of India's G20 Presidency. NABH extends its congratulations to Pristyn Care for achieving MVTF empanelment and anticipates the organization's unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards and guidelines to ensure top-quality care for all patients," stated Dr. Atul Mohan Kochhar, CEO of NABH.
